Good morning and welcome to another edition of Cards and Creations by Lori McBride. My name is Lori McBride and I’m a Stampin’ Up Independent Demonstrator from Joshua, TX.
Today, I’d like to share with you a card I created using the *Butterfly Brilliance Collection* along with just a couple extra goodies from the Annual Catalog and the January-June Mini Catalog.
From the time I saw the Butterfly Bijou 6×6 Designer Series Paper I knew I had to do an Easter card with it. The palette in this paper is stunning and absolutely perfect for spring and Easter cards and creations!!! Breathtaking beautiful!!
Our time with Purple Posy is running out and I just want to use as much of it as I possibly can before our time is up! Although technically Purple Posy isn’t even a color in the Butterfly Bijou 6×6 Designer Series Papers, there are shades of Highland Heather that make this totally possible!
*Supply List*

2 1/4″ Circle Punch

This Triple Fold Card was so easy and simple to make.
*Measurements*
Cardbase Highland Heather 4 1/4″×11″ scored at 1 3/16″, 5 1/2″ and 6 3/4″
Basic White 2 1/2″×4″ (2×)
DSP 1″×4″
DSP 2 1/2″×4″
DSP 4″×4″
Belly Band Purple Posy 1″×11″
*Instructions*
I started off mounting the Butterfly Stamp into the Stamparatus and inking just the one butterfly in Momento Black Ink on one of my 2 1/2″×4″ pieces and using the Dies to die cut it out and hand colored it using the Stampin’ Blend Markers.
I created the Cardbase and cut all of the DSP using my Stampin’ Trimmer and adhered them down using Stampin’ Seal.
From the score lines you simply fold to create your triple fold and add your DSP with your Stampin’ Seal.
I stamped the egg basket from the Springtime Joy Stamp Set in Momento Black Ink and hand colored them with the Stampin’ Blend Markers. I stamped the Easter sentiment using the same Stamp Set in Highland Heather Classic Ink.
I created the belly band by folding over the card and pinching in place. I added a small amount of Stampin’ Seal to one side of the belly band to close. I cut off a fair amount of ribbon and adding it to the front of the belly band having added Stampin’ Seal to the back.
From a scrap of Mint Macaron I punched a Circle from the 2 1/4″ Circle Punch and from a scrap of DSP punched a Circle from the 2″ Circle Punch. I added Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back of the Butterfly and attached to the belly band with Stampin Seal.
For the final touch I added the Pastel Pearls using my Take Your Pick Tool.
Thank you so much for joining me today. I hope that you’ve enjoyed this tutorial and will join me again soon for another edition.

Good morning and welcome to another edition of Cards and Creations by Lori McBride. My name is Lori McBride and I’m a Stampin’ Up Independent Demonstrator from Joshua, TX.
Today, I’d like to share with you a card I created using the Butterfly Brilliance Collection and many other Stamps, Bundles and accessories from the Annual Catalog and the January-June Mini Catalog.
The Butterfly Brilliance Collection is now available to everyone and features a lovely Bundle (Stamp & Die Set) Designer Series Paper and Designer Series Specialty Paper.
The Stamp and Die Set are a Pre-Annual Catalog Launch but the Collection features two Special Edition Items. The Butterfly Bijou 6×6 Designer Series Papers and the Natural Touch Specialty Paper are only available while supplies last between now and May 3rd.
I will indicate which items came from the January-June Mini Catalog with an MC and which items came from the Annual Catalog with an AC.
The list of products used on this card totally overwhelmed even me. It also goes to show that sometimes having a large collection at your fingertips can come in handy with Stamp Sets and Dies do not come with sentiments or other images.
I love sets like this where there’s such an open range of creativity to be had. It’s fun to just mix and match and just kind of go with it.
I hope you’ve enjoyed it as much as I enjoyed making it.
Thank you so much for joining me today. I hope you’ll join me again soon for another edition soon.

Today I’d like to share with you the information for April’s Paper Pumpkin Kit.
For those who are familiar with Paper Pumpkin, this is going to be a “Hot Kit.” I imagine that this Kit will sell out before the end of the Subscription period.
This month’s Kit is named “So Cool” and features the following:
ABOUT THE APRIL KIT
Name So Cool
Details
Kit includes enough supplies to make 12 fresh, fun-shaped cards—6 popsicles and 6 blank semicircles to color—and coordinating envelopes. Kit includes card bases, 2 full sticker sheets, decorative die-cut pieces, embellishments, and more.
Envelope size: 4-1/2″ x 5-3/4″ (11.4 x 14.6 cm)
Coordinating colors: Blackberry Bliss, Bermuda Bay, Bumblebee, Cinnamon Cider, Old Olive, Terracotta Tile
Coordinates with the Ice Cream Corner Suite from our January–June 2021 Mini Catalog.
Earlier I mentioned that I thought that this is going to be a “hot kit.” That means that EVERYONE is going to want this one. The Ice Cream Corner Suite has been in high demand and has gone into backorder and not orderable status on more than one occasion since the launch of the January-June Mini Catalog. It is currently sitting in “Low Inventory Status” right now. I can not emphasize this enough – DO NOT WAIT!!
Ice Cream Corner Suite
The Ice Cream Corner Suite Includes everything you see pictured above and can be ordered using a single Item #155984
For those who aren’t familiar with our Paper Pumpkin Kits.
The Paper Pumpkin Kit is a monthly all inclusive kit, no obligation kit that can be delivered to your mailbox each and every month.
The Subscription Period begins on the 11th day of each month and ends on the 10th day of the following month.
Subscriptions can be monthly or prepaid in 1 month, 3 month, 6 month or 12 month intervals.
For those who choose the monthly option, there’s no contract or committment period on Paper Pumpkin Subscriptions. The account can be cancelled or suspended at any time and can also be reactivated at any time.
The Kits are often cards but can also be 3D projects.
The Kits are great for beginners because they always include instructions and are a great way to start a Stamp Set and Ink Supply.
The Kits are also great for the intermediate and avid crafter as there’s always room to add more creativity to each kit.
The kit costs just $22.00 and that includes shipping and handling.
The Kits are not guaranteed and do occasionally sell out before the end of the Subscription period. There are a couple of tips I can give you in making sure that your kit is guaranteed:
Sign up to receive them automatically each month. What’s the real harm? You can suspend it at anytime if you need to.
If you do have to suspend your account for any reason, make sure you reinstate it right away the following month.
Keep your account active! Anyone who’s considered “an active Paper Pumpkin Subscriber” is guaranteed a Kit.
If you choose the prepaid Paper Pumpkin route, subscribe right away!! Do not wait until the last minute to subscribe. If the kit does sell out before your prepaid subscription goes in, you will be sent the following month’s Kit.
New Subscribers also need to subscribe right away at the beginning of the Subscription period. If a kit sells out before you Subscribe, your Subscription will start the following month and you may miss out on the kit you really want.
I believe in the past Stampin’ Up has also offered new subscribers who subscribed to a sold out kit a previous month’s Kit as well.
The bottom line is that it’s NEVER a good idea to wait until the last minute to subscribe to a Paper Pumpkin Kit.
The Subscription Period for April’s “So Cool” Paper Pumpkin Kit begins today (March 11th) and will end on April 10th.

Good morning and welcome to another edition of Cards and Creations by Lori McBride. My name is Lori McBride and I’m a Stampin’ Up Independent Demonstrator from Joshua, TX.
The other day I shared a card that I created for the Stampin’ Up Color Challenge. Today, I’d like to share with you a second card I created using the same design.
When I create a design for something that is specific for either a little girl or a little boy, I try to use the same design to create a card and show diversity for the opposite gender so when I saw that the Color Challenge Card was geared more towards a little boy, I definitely had to show the same sample appropriately for a little girl.
As I mentioned in my previous Blog, I can totally see this for being a baby shower card, a birthday card or even a graduation (I’m thinking kindergarten) or any other type of celebration or occasion where Congratulations would be appropriate.
The great thing about this particular card is that you can use any combination of colors and or Stamp sets, punches or Dies to mix this one up. Stay tuned because there will definitely be more to come!!

Today, I’d like to share with you a project that I created using the *Borders To Backgrounds Stamp Set* along with a few other goodies for the #SUColorChallenge.
The colors for this month’s Challenge are:
I couldn’t think of a better color to use for this Challenge as we get ready to say goodbye to our beloved Seaside Spray.
Seaside Spray is one of our five In Colors that will be retiring in May. The other colors that we’ll have to be terribly sad to go are Rococo Rose, Pretty Peacock, Terracotta Tile and Purple Posy.
We already know that once Purple Posy retires due to the quality issues of the ink that it’ll sadly be gone forever but I really do hope that we’ll see Seaside Spray again in the future.

*Instructions*
On the Basic White Cardstock I stamped the lines from the Borders To Backgrounds Stamp Set in Seaside Spray, Daffodil Delight and Garden Green.
I attached the ribbon to the back using Stampin’ Seal Adhesive and attached the Matte Bases to the Cardbase using the Stampin’ Seal.
I stamped a scrap of Basic White Cardstock with the “hip hip horray” sentiment from the Best Year Stamp Set in Momento Black Ink and die cut it using the Stitched So Sweetly dies and added Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back and adhered it in place.
This was a simple but cute card that could easily be used for birthdays, baby showers, graduations or any other occasion where “Congratulations” may be in order.
Stay tuned for more with this card. I just had a few more ideas using this exact same layout.
