In Color Butterfly Brilliance Card

Good morning and welcome to another edition of Cards and Creations by Lori McBride. My name is Lori McBride and I’m a Stampin’ Up Independent Demonstrator from Joshua,TX.

Today, I’d like to share with you a card that I created using the Butterfly Brilliance Stamp Set and the *NEW* Pale Papaya In Color.

Have I mentioned lately that I’m SO incredibly in LOVE with the new 2021-2023 In Colors already?!?!

On my Facebook presentation, I provided several color combinations using each of the new 2021-2023 In Colors.

Yes, I know that the lighting is horrible in my craft room which is why I opt more into blogging that I do vlogging. But the good news is that I purchased some additional live streaming equipment today that will hopefully help me out in that department. Please keep your fingers crossed that it actually helps me in my dungeon.

Anyhow, there’s absolutely NOTHING like seeing them in better light.

The color combination that I present you today is Pale Papaya, Calypso Coral and Basic Gray.

*Measurements*

Pale Papaya Cardstock is our Standard A2

Basic White Cardstock is 4″x 5 1/4″(2x)

*Instructions*

Just stick the Basic White Cardstock in the Stamparatus and make life easier on yourself. I’ve tried a million and one ways to use these large stamps, the Stamparatus is the best and easiest way to get a clear, crisp image.

After I stamped the image in Basic Gray ink, I pulled it out of the Stamparatus and hand colored it with the Stampin’ Blend Markers.

Although it’s not visible in the photo, I added a touch of Clear Wink of Stella to each of the Butterfly Wings. The recipient of this card will see it and absolutely love it.

I die cut the label from the Succulents Dies Set and stamped it in Calypso Coral Ink.

I added a small amount of the Stampin’ Seal + to the center of the card and added the Pale Papaya Ribbon to the center and snipped off the end. I added Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back of the stamped label and placed it directly over the ribbon.

I added Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back and adhered it directly down to the Pale Papaya Cardbase.

For the inside base, I loaded the second piece of Basic White Cardstock into the Stamparatus and stamped one of the butterflies in Basic Gray Ink and the “Happy Birthday” sentiment from the Sweet Ice Cream Stamp Set in Pale Papaya Ink.

I hand colored the butterfly on the inside cardbase in Calypso Coral Ink.
