December “Pun Intended” Paper Pumpkin Alternate

Happy New Year and welcome to another edition of Cards and Creations by Lori McBride. My name is Lori McBride and I’m a Stampin’ Up! Independent Demonstrator from Joshua,TX.

Today I’d like to share with you an alternative project using the December “Pun Intended” Paper Pumpkin Kit.

Aside from the Paper Pumpkin Kit there are just a few items from the Annual Catalog that you’ll need.

Basic White Cardstock

Momento Black Ink

Stampin’ Write Markers

Stampin’ Seal Adhesive

Stampin’ Dimensionals

Pool Party Cardbase 4 1/4″×5 1/2″

DSP 4″×5 1/4″

Basic White Matte Base 3 3/4″×5″

Basic White Inside Cardbase 4″×5 1/4″

I stamped the banana image from the stamp set included in the Paper Pumpkin Kit in Momento Black Ink randomly and hand colored them with the Stampin’ Write Markers.

I attached the DSP layer to the Cardbase with Stampin’ Seal Adhesive and then attached the banana stamped layer with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Using the Early Espresso Ink Spot that comes in the Kit, I stamped the “Go Bananas” sentiment on the element included in the Kit.

I simply layered the different elements using the kit pieces using a combination of Stampin’ Seal Adhesive, the mini glue dots and Stampin’ Dimensionals that were included in the Kit. Before I knew it, I had an absolutely adorable card ready for any upcoming birthday.
