Peaceful Deer Card

Good afternoon and welcome to another edition of Cards and Creations by Lori McBride. My name is Lori McBride and I’m a Stampin’ Up! Independent Demonstrator from Joshua,TX.

Today I’d like to share with you a last minute, made from scraps, middle of the night card that I created using the Peaceful Deer Bundle along with a few other goodies.

*Supply List*

Peaceful Deer Bundle

Layering Circles Dies

Real Red Cardstock

Basic White Cardstock

Black Glitter Paper

Red Rhinestones

Black Organdy Ribbon

Sahara Sand Classic Ink Pad

Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Stampin’ Seal Adhesive

Black Dimensionals

Take Your Pick Tool

Stampin’ Trimmer

Stampin’ Cut and Emboss machine

There’s nothing worse than hearing the words, “I need more” this time of year. Unfortunately for me, it happens every single year.

Thankfully, I took a look at the scraps that I had left and was able to say, “Yep! I’ve got this!”

I used our standard A2 Cardbase in Real Red Cardstock and trimmed the scraps down to measure approximately (because NO! At 2:00 AM, I’m not measuring anything) 1″×5 1/4″ and adhered them down with some Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I die cut the Black Glitter Paper using the layering Circles Dies and the Stampin’ Cut and Emboss machine.

I stamped the deer in Sahara Sand Ink and punched it out using the Deer Builder Punch.

I put some Stampin’ Seal Adhesive down over the top of the card front and stuck the Back Organdy Ribbon to the front.

I added Black Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back of the Black Glitter circles and the deer and adhered them in place.

The inside of these cards are going to be basic. Standard 4″×5 1/4″ Basic White Cardstock with a single stamped sentiment.

Thank you for joining me today. I hope that you’ve enjoyed this last minute Christmas card and that you’ll join me again in the new year!

Merry Christmas to you and your family and wishing you many blessings in the new year!!
