Good morning and welcome to another edition of Cards and Creations by Lori McBride. My name is Lori McBride and I’m a Stampin Up Independent Demonstrator from Joshua,TX.
Today I’d just like to take a few moments to reflect upon the last year as a Stampin’ Up Independent Demonstrator as conversations begin about OnStage. For those who aren’t familiar with Stampin’ Up!, OnStage is one of Stampin’ Up’s Annual Events exclusive to Stampin’ Up! Independent Demonstrators. It’s an exciting time as we celebrate our achievements and get exclusive sneak peeks at everything that’s to come.
Under “normal”, non-COVID19 circumstances OnStage would be held in person however, with COVID-19 running rampant, the last 2 years, OnStage has been a Virtual Event.
The 2020 OnStage event was incredible and I learned so much from participating and I’m so excited to be participating again this year. I’m truly hoping that Stampin’ Up! will continue to offer a Virtual Event for us Demonstrators that are just starting out and don’t quite generate enough income to be able to attend in person events. I would REALLY miss this!!!
Participating in OnStage is a great way to jumpstart your Stampin’ Up! business or learn new tips and tricks and advance your stamping knowledge. In addition to being able to preview Stampin’ Up’s new products coming in their January-June Mini Catalog, you’ll be able to preorder new goodies and jumpstart your advancement into a new year!!
What a year it’s been!! I did it! I’m still standing!! That in itself is worth celebrating. That was the ultimate goal through navigating through COVID-19. As a newer Demonstrator, not having a large Customer base, my main focus was to remain an active Stampin’ Up! Independent Demonstrator. To keep creating, to keep inspiring and absolutely to continue sharing what I absolutely love so much!
I’ve managed to grow my Blog, I’ve managed to grow a small Customer base, I gained an absolutely amazing new team member, my Blog is thriving with new readers and followers, my Facebook business page, Instagram and Pinterest base has grown and I started doing live videos!!
My Cards and Creations Blog is definitely something that I’m very proud of!! Last year, I had 1200 views to this Blog in just a few short months. I thought that was pretty good for a first year. My end Stats for this Stampin’ Up year are currently 5,656 and still counting!! That’s incredible!! I would just like to thank my Team, my readers and followers and those who follow on my social media accounts for this tremendous amount of success this year!! Your support has been incredible and I look forward to this next year making it bigger and better than ever!!
I would also like to thank my Customers for continuing to support my growing business. Without you, I’m truly nothing.
