Delivering Cheer Fall Card

Good morning and welcome to another edition of Cards and Creations by Lori McBride. My name is Lori McBride and I’m a Stampin’ Up! Independent Demonstrator from Joshua,TX.

With the weather still in the high 90’s here in North Texas, we’re dreaming of cooler temperatures, autumn leaves, sweaters, bonfires and great big pots of good ole Texas chili!!

Although we’re still at least a couple of months away, dreaming of it has it’s benefits. This card for example created with Stampin’ Up’s new *Delivering Cheer Stamp Set* along with just a few other goodies in my craft room from the July-December Mini Catalog.

*Backstory*

Many moons ago, Stampin’ Up! released a Host Stamp Set named “Hand Delivered” that was very similar to the new Delivering Cheer. It was by far one of my most favorite Stamp Sets ever made. And of course…Stampin’ Up! retired it!! So as you can imagine my excitement when I saw the Delivering Cheer Stamp Set.

But it kind of has me thinking that Stampin’ Up! just MIGHT bring out of the time vault the Hand Delivered Stamp Set but we’ve got to start putting some pressure on them now to bring it back!!! And I’m determined to start a movement for it to happen so I can break it out and create with it all over again. So if my readers would help me out by emailing them, taking to social media and using #stampinup #handdelivered #bringitback I’d greatly appreciate the support!!

*Measurements*

Cardbase – 4 1/4″×5 1/2″

Matte Base – 4″×5 1/4″

DSP – 3 3/4″×5″

Be Dazzling – 2 1/2″

*Instructions*

The instructions on this one are pretty easy. I stamped the woman image of a scrap of Basic White Cardstock and hand colored her using the Stampin’ Blend Markers and then used my Paper Snips to fussy cut her out.

I adhered the Matte Base to the Cardbase using Multipurpose Liquid Glue and then adhered the Be Dazzling Specialty Paper to the Harvest Meadow DSP.

I used Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere the Harvest Meadow DSP to the Matte Base and also added Stampin’ Dimensionals and Stampin’ Mini Dimensionals to the back of the lady and adhered her over the Be Dazzling Specialty Paper.

I stamped the “Blessed” sentiment in Blackberry Bliss Ink on a scrap of Basic White Cardstock and used the Festive Dies and my Mini Stampin’ Cut and Emboss Machine to die cut the label. It’s adhered down with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

The inside Cardbase is our standard 4″×5 1/4″ in Basic White Cardstock and is stamped in Crumb Cake Ink. The inside sentiment is the “Warmest wishes” sentiment from the Delivering Cheer Stamp Set.

*Reminder*

The Be Dazzling Specialty Paper is one of our Sale-a-bration items and can be yours absolutely *FREE* with a $50.00 purchase from my online store. Sale-a-bration will end September 30th and is only available while supplies last!

Thank you so much for joining me today. I hope that you’ll join me again soon for another edition. Until next time – Happy Stampin’ Everyone!!
