Well Suited Birthday Card

Good morning and welcome to another edition of Cards and Creations by Lori McBride. My name is Lori McBride and I’m a Stampin’ Up Independent Demonstrator from Joshua, Texas.

Today, I’d like to share with you this fabulous fun fold card created with Stampin’ Up’s Well Suited Designer Series Papers and Twine Combo Pack along with just a couple extra goodies in my craft room.

The Color Combination that I’m using for today’s project is:

Smoky Slate, Night of Navy, Basic Gray and Basic White

Today’s card is really very basic, simple and easy to create. The cardbase is Night of Navy measuring 4″x10 1/2″ scored at 2 1/2″ and 5 1/2″

The Smoky Slate card front measures 4″x5 1’2″ and is adhered to the 2 1/2″ scored portion of the card with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

The DSP are literally just random sized scraps of paper that are glued to the card front with Stampin’ Seal Adhesive. The top layer of scraps are lifted up with Stampin’ Mini Dimensionals.

On a scrap of Basic White Cardstock, I stamped the “happy birthday” sentiment from the Happy Thoughts Stamp Set and punched it out using the Tailored Tag Punch.

I tied a double bow using the Well Suited Twine Combo Pack and adhered it to the stamped, punched sentiment with Mini Glue Dots and added a Black Matte Dot just because.
