Congratulations Cards

Good morning and welcome to another edition of Cards and Creations by Lori McBride. My name is Lori McBride and I’m a Stampin’ Up Independent Demonstrator from Joshua, TX.

As I mentioned in previous Blogs, the Borders To Backgrounds Stamp Set truly inspired me to create more.

Today, I combined the Borders To Backgrounds with the Happy Thoughts Stamp Set and stepped up the design differently from what I’ve done in days prior.

Cardbase 4 1/4″×11″ scored at 5 1/2″

Matte Base 4″×5 1/4″

Matte Base 3 5/8″×4 7/8″

These were really just fun and bright and colorful cards to make.

I started off by simple stamping the Basic White Cardstock and layering the Cardbase and Matte Base with Stampin’ Seal.

For the stamped Basic White, I raised that Matte Base up with Stampin Dimensionals.

I stamped the “Congratulations” sentiment from the Happy Thoughts Stamp Set in Momento Black Ink and punched it out with the Tailored Punch. I added Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back of the sentiment and adhered it down.

I created the bows and used Mini Glue Dots to secure them in place.

For the finishing touch, I used my Take Your Pick to and added just a few of the Artistry Bloom Self Adhesive Sequins.
