Ornate Style Spring Card

Good morning and welcome to another edition of Cards and Creations by Lori McBride. My name is Lori McBride and I’m a Stampin’ Up Independent Demonstrator from Joshua, TX.

Today I’d like to share with you a card I created with the Ornate Style Stamp Set and Ornate Border Dies.

Spring is most definitely in the air here in North Texas and it won’t be long before all of the stunning colors of spring come to bloom.

Spring is most definitely my favorite time of year. We’ve already started to see more bunnies hopping around the yard and things are trying to bloom.

Unfortunately, the brutal winter storm did kill the majority of my tulips and completely killed my daffodils that bloomed for the first time in nearly 3 years in this house. The saddest casualty may be my peach tree. I’d always wanted to have one in the yard, saw it as a good omen when we bought the house and have enjoyed every season with may be now a total loss. I’m trying to give her a little more time to see what’s going to happen.

With all of that being said, I think that’s really the main reason why I’m feeling a bit more “flowery” these days.
