Good morning and welcome to another edition of Cards and Creations by Lori McBride. My name is Lori McBride and I’m a Stampin’ Up Independent Demonstrator.
*Personal Notes*
Thank you for being patient with me as we endured the worst snow storm in Texas history. Thankfully, Elsa has returned to Aarondale and is banished for LIFE in Texas. We love you northerners but how ya’ll tolerate that on a regular basis, we’re not sure.
As I’m still a bit shell shocked over what’s occurred in my state over the last week, I’m also WAY behind in my craft room as I’ve been unable to work in there due to the extreme cold. There may be continued radio silence over the next couple of weeks as I work to get caught up and get ahead of the game again. Rest assured the radio silence will not be for nothing. I appreciate your continued understanding, patience and support during this time.
All in all, we were extremely BLESSED through these storms and ask that you continue to pray for our state and for the MANY family and friends who are grieving losses of all types during this time.
After last week’s fiasco, I thought I’d warm things up with a spring project using the *Springtime Joy Stamp Set* and just a handful of things out of the Annual Catalog.
By the end of February or beginning of March, Texans begin making our plans, pulling out our flip flops and beach bags and heading to the beach! From that point on, our beach bags do not get put up until some time after Labor Day.

*Stampin’ Reminder*
Very soon Stampin’ Up will announce the retirement list for the 2020 Annual Catalog and we will be saying goodbye to our five 2018-2020 In Colors. Those colors are Rococo Rose, Terracotta Tile, Seaside Spray, Pretty Peacock and Purple Posy. Once Stampin’ Up announces this list, the In Color supplies will sell put VERY quickly so it’s always a good time to stock up any any Cardstock, Designer Series Papers, Ribbons, Embellishments, Ink Refills or any other items you may need or want while the supply is ample.
Sadly, due to the quality issues Stampin’ Up experienced with the Purple Posy and the inability to correct it’s issue, the probability of it’s return won’t happen. Although the Purple Posy Ink Pad and Refill Bottle have long been retired, ink in the Purple Posy Stampin’ Write Markers and Stampin’ Blend Alcohol Markers has remained in tact.
As sad as it is to say goodbye to Retiring Products it’s also a time of great excitement to see what’s coming next.
Thank you so much for joining me today. I hope you’ll join me again soon for another edition. Until next time – Happy Stampin’ Everyone!
so cute
