Good morning and welcome to another edition of Cards and Creations by Lori McBride. My name is Lori McBride and I’m a Stampin’ Up Independent Demonstrator.
Sometimes our mistakes turn into the most delightful treasures. I’ve shared a great deal of projects using the Berry Blessings Stamp Set, Berry Delightful Designer Series Paper and the Sweet Strawberry Bundle so I’m not going to focus too much on what I used but simply leave a photo of something I accidentally made with the backstory and just a touch of humor.

Totally precious right? On February 9th, I shared a card named “Raspberry Best.” I had very specific ideas that often come to mind when I’m in the design phase of cardmaking. Needless to say, the stamped Raspberries on this card weren’t what I had in mind for the Raspberry Best Card.
With that being said when I saw how the stamping was coming out I said to my husband, “I think I’m going to hang onto this and come back to it because I really like the way this is coming out.”
With fresh eyes and mind (because honestly design work will often give me a migraine) I woke up early the next morning, went into my craft room and finished both Raspberry Best and this card.
*Just a few Notes*
This card is just a standard A2 Cardbase with a 4″Ć5 1/4″ Basic White Matte Base. I used my Poppy Parade and Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Blend Markers and a ruler to create the stripes.
The paper with the raspberries and leaves stamped on it was just a scrap of Basic White Cardstock that I simple stamped with both the Berry Blessings Stamp Set and the Sweet Strawberry Stamp Set. I used Poppy Parade, Granny Apple Green and Shaded Spruce Inks to stamp them in.
I did use the Stitched So Sweetly Dies to sort of follow suit with the other cards that I’ve been making and went back to the “Happy Birthday” sentiment from the Happy Thoughts Stamp Set. To give it a more complete look and finished it off with the red ribbon from the Playful Pets Combo Pack and a Mini Glue Dot.
I used Stampin’ Dimensionals to raise the stamped raspberry and the stitched so sweetly die cut.
I really hope that ya’ll enjoy this one as much as I enjoyed making it. Thank you so much for joining me. I hope you’ll join me again soon for another edition. Until next time – Happy Stampin’ Everyone!
