I’m going through changes…

Good evening and welcome to another edition of Cards and Creations by Lori McBride. My name is Lori McBride and I’m a Stampin’ Up Independent Demonstrator.

Sometimes, we hit what I call a crossroad where decisions can be difficult to make. Ladies and gentlemen, today, I hit one.

It’s not been an easy decision for me to make but it is for the best. Effective February 12th, I will no longer have a DBWS through Stampin’ Up.

To better understand, I joined Stampin’ Up as a Demonstrator a little over a year ago. I was seeing a fair amount of success in the beginning but then COVID-19 happened and of course the world seemed to freeze in every which way including financially for many people.

I’ve managed to keep my head above water and remain active and I’m still an active Demonstrator and not going anywhere. That’s for certain. However, through this, I’ve managed to loose Customers and my downline. I have not had a single order through my DBWS since April 2019 and I can’t justify continuing to pay the monthly fee for the DBWS website.

So I thought I’d do a little Q & A blog ahead of time (because I love having conversations with myself on these Blog Posts) to answer any questions readers and followers may have.

Q: Does this mean that your no longer an active Demonstrator?

A: No. I’m still an active Demonstrator with Stampin’ Up.

Q: Will this Blog be disappearing?

A: Absolutely not. I will still be sharing my ideas with the Stampin’ Up products that I love.

Q: Will you still have the Cards and Creations by Lori McBride Facebook Page?

A: Yes, my Facebook Business Page and V.I.P. Group will remain active.

Q: Will your Pinterest boards remain active?

A: Yes, Pinterest will also remain in tact.

Q: Will I be able to place an order from you online?

A: No. My online store will no longer be available for direct order.

Q: Can I place an order or sign up as a Demonstrator under you without a DBWS?

A: Yes, but you will need to contact me directly by phone or email.

Q: Will you still have catalogs?

A: Yes, I will gladly still provide catalogs to anyone who wishes to have one.

Q: Is there anything else that will change as a result of this?

A: Yes, instead of having my DBWS watermarked to my photos it will just have the Stampin’ Up copyright with the the Cards and Creations by Lori McBride watermark on them. I will be changing the Font Style to reflect the change.

Q: Is there a chance you could reactivate your DBWS?

A: Yes. If COVID-19 decides to dwindle down and we’re able to do in person events, craft fairs and I’m able to grow my Stampin’ Up business the way that I’d like to, there is a strong possibility that I’ll reactivate my DBWS in the future.

Q: Will you still be participating in the monthly Team Stamp It Blog Hop?

A: Absolutely! I love participating in the Blog Hop with my team.

Q: Can you still participate in the SU Color Challenge as well?

A: Absolutely. Nothing as far as my monthly activities as a Stampin’ Up Demonstrator will change.

Q: Will you still be able to share upcoming Sales & Promotions?

A: Yes. Stampin’ Up will still provide me with plenty of materials to share with you throughout the year.

I hope that this has answered a lot of questions and addressed a lot of concerns. If you have any additional questions, please add a comment or message me directly at:

I’ll be happy to answer any questions and any concerns you may have.

Thank you for joining me this evening and for your understanding and your support during these uncertain moments. I’ll see you again soon for another edition. Until next time – Happy Stampin’ Everyone!
