OnStage 2020

Good afternoon and welcome to another edition of Cards and Creations by Lori McBride. My name is Lori McBride and I’m a Stampin’ Up! Independent Demonstrator.

Today, I’d like to share with you my overall thoughts of OnStage@Home experience as this was my very first time ever attending an OnStage Event.

WOW!! What a three days it’s been! I’ve spent the last 2 nights pondering ideas and I’m sure I’ll spend at least 2-3 more nights in design for what’s coming next for the January-June Mini Catalog and Sale-a-bration items.

The new January-June Mini Catalog is amazing and I can’t wait to share with you some of the new goodies that will be arriving. As well as ideas and inspiration to use them!!

It was an honor to see my name scroll across the screen three times, as it was an honor to see friends and team mates as well as other Demonstrators that I follow at the Recognition Event Thursday Night. As me and my family cheered and clapped, I couldn’t help but to dream of an in person event and walking across that stage!

My heart also broke a quite a bit for the Japan Demonstrators being recognized as Stampin’ Up announced the devastating news that they’re pulling out of the Japanese market. As their names and photos flashed across the screen reality struck that these ladies are losing EVERYTHING and I found myself fighting back tears for them. To my Japanese Stampy Sisters, my thoughts are with you as one chapter closes and another one begins. We wish you all the absolute best and pray that another door opens to you!!! (((HUGS)))

Another thrill of this weekend was winning a Pop Up “Mystery Prize!” Some ladies won new Stamp Sets, others won product credit but I drew the “mystery gift!” The mystery gift will be revealed December 1st!! I can’t wait to share what it is when it arrives!!

Pat Benatar has still got it and still completely rocked!! The musical entertainment in between sessions on Friday was also very cool.

The contents of my Swag Box were amazing. My favorite being that extra large, high quality bag!! I’ve found that the bottom zipper compartment absolutely PERFECT for storing Mini catalogs and order forms! Things that don’t mind being flattered and you want to bring with you in presentable condition.

The presentations and the knowledge I gained by attending is undoubtedly going to lead me into 2021 with hope and confidence.

As still considered a newer Demonstrator, I’m truly humbled and thankful for the gift that Sara and Shelli gave to each and all 10,700 Demonstrators attending the OnStage@Home Event!! That was incredible!!!

Congratulations to Misty Moonlight!!! Misty Moonlight is one of our 2020-2022 In Colors and was named the #1 Color of the Year! It’s also one of my favorite colors to use!

Other fun facts we learned today were:

Stampin’ Up welcomed 24,003 NEW Demonstrators during the 2019-2020 Stampin Up year.

There are currently (when this was filmed) 57,040 Demonstrators worldwide.

There was $215 Million Dollars of Product sold.

Stampin’ Up Demonstrators broke a record when the 2020 Annual Catalog dropped in June buying and selling $6.1 million dollars in a single day!

Top 3 most popular stamp set of the year:

Thoughtful Blooms (from the Sale-A-Bration brochure).
Happy Birthday To You (from the Sale-A-Bration brochure). The Dressed To Impress Stamp Set (from last year’s January-June Mini Catalog)

Thank you for joining me today. I hope that you’ll join me again soon. Until next time, Happy Stampin’ Everyone!
