Online Classes

Good evening and welcome to another edition of Cards and Creations by Lori McBride. As everyone is aware COVID-19 aka Coronavirus has unfortunately landed here in the United States. As a result, social distancing and Stay In Place orders have been in effect in many areas. As of this moment, I have suspended all upcoming in home classes until further notice.

There is alternate that I’m implementing beginning next week. I’m shooting for Thursday (March 26, 2020) a series of six online classes using Stampin’ Up’s All Inclusive Kits.

The first two classes we will be using the Notes of Kindness Kit (Item #149651) I will do a class using instructions from the kit and will plan do an alternate project with the kit for class #2. The Notes of Kindness kit includes the following supplies and coordinating colors:

Kit Includes:
* Set of 6 photopolymer stamps
* Clear stamp block
* 20 printed card bases and coordinating printed envelopes
* Giftable kraft box
* Die-cut stickers and accents
* Archival Basic Black Ink Stampin’ Spot
* Baker’s Twine
* Stampin’ Dimensionals
* Adhesive-backed pearls

Coordinating colors: Basic Black, Blackberry Bliss, Blushing Bride, Mint Macaron, Mossy Meadow, Soft Sea Foam

Classes #3 and #4 will be using the Looking Up Card Kit (Item #149651) Looking up is again an all inclusive kit that contains everything that you need to complete these projects. I will provide an alternate project using the kit in Class #4. The kit includes the following supplies and coordinating colors:

Kit includes:
* Set of 7 photopolymer stamps and a clear acrylic block
* 15 card bases: 3 each of 5 designs
* 15 printed envelopes
* Ink spot and embellishments

Coordinating colors: Basic Black, Bermuda Bay, Daffodil Delight, Granny Apple Green, Lovely Lipstick, Petal Pink, Pool Party

Finally, I will do an online class using the April Paper Pumpkin Kit which is an all inclusive kit that will be delivered right to your mailbox by April 20th. I will do two online classes using this kit. The theme for April is the most important subject of all – It is about the importance of family. The subscription period for the April Paper Pumpkin Kit is happening now and will be available for subscriptions until April 10th. April’s Paper Pumpkin Kit includes the following supplies and coordinating colors:

• Kit contains supplies for 8 cards and envelopes
• Card size: 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″ (10.8 x 14 cm)
• Envelope size: 4-1/2″ x 5-3/4″ (11.4 x 14.6 cm)

Coordinating Colors: Crushed Curry, Early Espresso, Melon Mambo, Mint Macaron, Pear Pizzazz, Shaded Spruce, Soft Sea Foam

Crafting is a fun and enjoyable way to pass the time and these kits all leave enough creativity to either follow along with my classes or do your own thing. During these difficult days, it’s also a great way to spend quality time with our kids, especially with them being home with us.
